I tried reinstalling Windows 8.1 from scratch by deleting the Boot Camp partition, creating it again, and installing Windows. After Apple's Boot Camp's software install (in the running Windows) and rebooting, it BSOD'd again. I read around that apple was putting APFS on High Sierra, but not if you have a Fusion Drive (this is my case).

You can use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows 10 on your Mac.

Install Windows on your Mac

To install Windows on your Mac, do one of the following:

Set the default operating system
After installing Windows, you can set the default operating system to either macOS or Windows. The default operating system is the one you want to use when you turn on or restart your Mac.
In macOS, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Startup Disk.
Click the lock icon , type an administrator name and password, then click Unlock.
Select the startup disk that has the default operating system you want to use.
If you want to start up using the default operating system now, click Restart.
The next time you turn on or restart your Mac, it starts up using the default operating system.
Prior Mac User worries on expanding/ enlarge partition on Mac, But Smart apples giving very secure option on the official way, using this way you can increase space in drive partition. Or most of the users trying to install windows on another partition at that time you need enough space there for installation through the boot camp.
Here’ is the one limitation before Enlarge partition on Mac running on the latest macOS, You must have to delete/ Format partition coming after you have to select for enlarging. So keep your partition data backup on other external drives for later on use.

Step to Enlarge Partition on Mac OS X: MacBook Pro, MacBook ration, and iMac
From this step, you can also decrease, not only increase Mac partition from your drive throughout a very secure way, without lose your data.
Step 1: Launch Utilities app under the /Applications/Utilities/Folder option.
Step 2: Go to the “Partition” tab from top tabs under the Disk Utilities management windows shown above.
Step 3: Tap on Partition from the top tab.
Step 4: Enter New Partition size in GBs.
Step 3: From there you have to drag through mouseClick and move it up and down.

Now you are done, But to creating another partition or Drive you can do it from the same window, So continue with the next step.
If you wish to delete the partition that chooses it and tap on delete (-) sign. And otherwise, add new partition than tap on (+) sign.
And assign a valid name for that partition, Size, and type of format.

Step 4: Next, click on the Apply button.
Step 5: Now give time to process and make partition through disk utility.
